Response: After a card is revealed by the encounter deck, exhaust Handwritten Note to cancel all of its effects. Then, as long as that card is in play, treat its textbox as if it were blank, except for traits. Limit once per game for the group.

If Handwritten Note leaves play, the players lose the game.
