The Dream-chaser and her fleet depart from the Grey Havens, in search of the island from Calphon's dreams. Only a week out from the coast, the black sails of Corsair can be seen in pursuit!
Setup: Prepare the Corsair deck. Players prepare their fleet. Shuffle each stage 2 card in the quest deck so that their order is random, leaving stage 3 on the bottom. Search the encounter deck for 1 copy of Rolling Seas and 1 copy of Scouting Ship, and add them to the staging area. Shuffle the encounter deck.
While you are on-course (), each Ship objective gets +2 .
When this stage is defeated, if you are on course (), look at the top 2 stages of the quest deck and advance to one of your choice, placing the other on the bottom of the quest deck. Otherwise, advance to the top state of the quest deck.
After days of aimless travel at sea, a dark mist settles along the ocean's surface, obscuring your visibility and frightening your shipsâ crew. "Wait," Calphon says, "this happened in my dream, too... I think if we find a way through this mist, we shall be one step closer to the island."

Calphon bursts into one of the heroesâ quarters in the middle of the night, sweating profusely and breathing heavily. âI saw it again!â he cries. âIt was the same island as before, only the sun was rising behind it, bathing the sky in orange. It must be to the east!â You can change course to follow Calphonâs vision, but you risk being discovered by the Corsairs chasing you...

While you are off-course (, , or ), each Ship enemy gains Boarding 1.

Calphon recognizes a bright star in the night sky, pointing to it. "There! That star! I remember that star from my vision. I believe we must follow that star if we are to reach the island." Calphonâs guidance has led you this far. But none of your maps or almanacs make any mention of this bright star...

While you are off-course (, , or ), each Ocean location gets +1 .

Calphon insists you are very close to finding the island, but Corsairs still shadow your fleet. You must either fight them or outpace them before you can reach the island and weigh anchor.

Corsairs led by the treacherous Captain SahĂr have stolen the black key you recovered in the ruins of NĂșmenor. You must get it back!
Setup: Prepare the Corsair deck. Players prepare their fleet. Prepare the Stormcaller's area with a second quest deck consisting of only stages 2C, 3C, and 4C, as well as the Stormcaller (see insert). Search the encounter deck for 1 copy of Rolling Seas, and add it to the staging area (2 copies instead if there are 3 or more players in the game). Shuffle the encounter deck.
The Stormcaller has a considerable lead on your fleet, but with good fortune and skilled sailing, perhaps you can catch up to it.
Forced: At the end of the quest phase, if you are off-course (, , or ), move 2 progress from Swift Departure to the Stormcaller's quest stage.
As you travel along the western coast of Middle-earth, Corsairs continue to harry your fleet in an attempt to slow your progress.
When Revealed: Search the encounter deck and discard pile for 1 copy of Swift Raider and add it to the staging area. Shuffle the encounter deck.
No more than 8 progress can be placed here each round. If you are off-course (, , or ), no more than 4 progress can be placed here each round instead.
When you defeat this stage, if the Stormcaller is at stage 2, you have caught up to the Stormcaller and win the game. Otherwise, advance to the next stage.
As your voyage continues, the skies darken and the rain becomes relentless. Storm clouds on the horizon flash with lightning, and unpredictable wind makes setting a course difficult.
Forced: At the end of the staging step, if you are off-course (, , or ), reveal an additional encounter card from the top of the encounter deck.
When you defeat this stage, if the Stormcaller is still at stage 3, you have caught up to the Stormcaller and win the game. Otherwise, advance to the next stage.
Youâve pursued the Stormcaller all the way to the deadly Cape of Andrast, where terrible winds and sharp jetties threaten to tear apart your entire fleet.
When Revealed: Discard cards from the top of the encounter deck until a Weather treachery is discarded. Resolve that cardâs âwhen revealedâ effect. That effect cannot be canceled.
Forced: After a Weather treachery is revealed, deal 1 damage to each Ship objective and Ship enemy at this stage.
If you defeat this stage, you have caught up to the Stormcaller and win the game.
Corsairs are attacking Dol Amroth to cover SahĂr's escape to Umbar!
Setup: Prepare the Corsair deck. Players prepare their fleet. Set each copy of Dol Amroth Warship aside, out of play. Search the encounter deck for Raider Flagship and 1 copy of Scouting Ship and add them to the staging area. Search the encounter deck for a Dol Amroth objective of your choice and add it to the staging area. Then, shuffle the encounter deck and resolve the Guarded keyword on that objective.
Forced: When a Ship enemy engages you, if you are off-course (Cloudy, Rainy or Stormy), deal 2 damage to a Ship objective you control. If you are on-course (Sunny), deal 2 damage to that Ship enemy instead.
If your current heading is at the worst setting (Stormy), Raider Flagship gets -50 engagement cost.
The Corsair fleet seems to be attacking multiple key locations simultaneously. To stop the attack, you must defend Dol Amroth from the Corsair ships.
When Revealed: Search the encounter deck and discard pile for a Ship enemy and add it to the staging area (2 Ship enemies instead if there are 3 or 4 players in the game). Shuffle the encounter deck. For each unguarded objective in the staging area, attach a non-unique Ship enemy in the staging area to that objective, guarding it.
If your current heading is at the worst setting (Stormy), Raider Flagship gets -50 engagement cost.
You cannot advance while at least 1 objective is guarded by an encounter.

Set The City of Corsairs encounter set aside, as an inactive second encounter deck. Prepare the Corsair deck. Players prepare their fleet. Add the Stormcaller to the staging area. Add 1 copy of Southern Belfalas to the staging area (2 instead if there are 3 or 4 players in the game). Shuffle the encounter deck.
Deep in enemy waters, you must recover the artifact from the Stormcaller.
Progress cannot be placed on The Coast of Umbar if the players are off-course (, , or ).
If the Stormcaller is destroyed (or if this stage has 15 or more progress on it), advance to stage 2.
"Corsairs ahead!" an Elven lookout shouts. You are about to give the order to steer away from the warship, when Calaphon abruptly stops you. "Wait! In my dream, I remember a great battle against a powerful fleet. Could this mean we are on the right track?" Reluctantly, you prepare to fight.
When Revealed: Search the encounter deck, discard pile and victory display for 1 copy of Corsair Warship and add it to the staging area. Shuffle the encounter deck.
Forced: At the end of the quest phase, if there is no Corsair Warship in play, this stage is defeated.
